Welcome families and cheerleaders to the 2012-13 cheerleading season!
To our new families joining us, we are excited that your daughter has decided to be a Kedron
cheerleader. To our returning families, welcome back!!
Our registration is completed and we will be having our Parent Meeting on Tuesday, June 5
at 7:00 p.m. at Chambers Church. This is a mandatory meeting and every cheerleader must
have a parent or guardian present. It’s even more important that each family is present at
the meeting because there are changes being made to our teams and schedules, and we will
have information on camp, Nationals, fundraising and fees. Your input and understanding of
our season and all it entails in imperative. We ask that regardless if this is your first or tenth
year, you attend this very important meeting. The success of our program depends of the full
support and commitment of our cheerleaders and parents.
Just before the Parent Meeting, the annual Kedron Parade will take place on Saturday, June
2nd. Our cheerleaders will once again lead the parade, marching from Amosland to Franklin
Field. Following the parade, there will be snacks, games, dunk tank and more. We would like
to see everyone participate in the parade and show our Kedron spirit and pride. If you
cheered last year, girls can wear either of their nationals t-shirts or any Kedron shirt. We will
have additional shirts from last season available for new cheerleaders.
Please let us know if you plan to attend. Also, if it’s your first year, be sure to let us know so
we can have enough shirts available. Parents and siblings are welcome to walk with us in the
parade.
